Description
Reminiscent of early Australian folk music, this charming work – written in ¾ time – uses beautiful modal harmonies and encourages legato bow divisions of crotchet and minim beats. Low first fingers are required in violins and celli, but because the rhythms are very straight forward, it is an ideal piece to introduce students to this new finger pattern.
