Description
Very laid back in style, this piece can be played with “swung” or straight eighth notes. Accents should not be overemphasized, but rather just make the last note slightly shorter. Ties should be held for the full length of the note. There are chromatic passages and syncopated rhythms, but these are used repetitively, so should be easy to consolidate. The bass “slap” is played with the right hand slapping the strings on the fingerboard. Bass players can put the bow down until the final bars.
